Mushroom Wall Art
Mushrooms have been drawn beautifully for two hundred years, largely because mycologists needed accurate plates long before photography could deliver them. This small, carefully chosen collection draws on that illustrative tradition and updates it.
The pieces divide into three moods. Vintage mycology plate style, multiple labelled species arranged in a row, which is precisely why a wide panoramic frame suits them. Forest floor scenes with moss, ferns and fungi in low, filtered light. And stylised cottagecore and folk illustration, fly agaric caps, toadstool clusters, whimsical scale, often in warm red, cream and moss green.
Tall vertical formats hold a single specimen well, gills and stem drawn full length, which works nicely on the narrow wall of a downstairs cloakroom, a pantry or a reading nook.
The palette is naturally muted, ochre, moss, rust, bone, so these sit comfortably in rooms already leaning earthy, and they pair particularly well with our botanical and landscape pieces if you are building a wall around a woodland theme.
Made on cotton canvas with fade-resistant, non-toxic inks over hand-stretched FSC-certified pine. Eight sizes up to 24x72 inches, gallery wrapped or floating-framed, with the hanging hardware already fitted.
