Kitchen Wall Art

Kitchens rarely have a spare square metre of wall. What they do have are awkward strips: the run above a cabinet line, the space between wall units and ceiling, the narrow panel beside a door, the wall of a breakfast nook. Those strips are exactly what a long horizontal canvas is shaped for.

A practical note on placement. Canvas dislikes steam and cooking grease, so hang pieces on the dining side of the room rather than directly above a hob or sink, and leave a few centimetres of clearance from any heat source.
